Alma enjoyed her childhood with her mother Amy Chase (predeceased), sister Zeta Chase, aunt Erna Blackman, and uncle Ralph Blackman (predeceased).

In 1968, Alma immigrated to Brooklyn New York, USA where she worked as a Supervisor of Environmental Services at numerous New York City hospitals. In 2003, Alma relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA with her daughter Sherma and son-in-law Jean Michel, where she later entered into rest on January 12, 2020.

Alma is survived by her daughter Sherma Michel, grand-daughter Jennifer Michel-Farley, great grand-daughter Melodie Michel, sister Zeta Chase, niece Shelly Chase, and aunt Erna Blackman. Alma is also survived by life long friends Pauline, Patricia “Pat”, Gervine, Vilma, and Adina.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service celebrating the life of Alma Chase at Christ Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Christ Church, Barbados on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM, followed by burial of cremated remains. Please be aware that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
