My dear Julia and Lawson....you and Angela were our first real friends in Barbados. You and Angela attended our wedding in 2014 and we spent many hours at Fred’s. We were aware of Angela’s achievements, her love for her hsband and daughter, her amazing presence wherever she went. She was simply a woman who loved her friends and commanded attention, which is why people from all over the world headed for Fred’s to rekindle friendships forged over the years on trips to the island. She was one of Barbado’s treasures. We took Angela to Champers for a retirement celebration and I will never forget how she was treated like royalty by the staff there, because, indeed, she was royal and resplendent and entered that room like the queen she was. Angela...from the deepest part of our hearts, and in our sorrow, we will miss you. Julia and Lawson, we wish you strength and acceptance. And when we see you in December we will raise a tearful glass to an amazing woman. Haydee and Robert Davis Port Perry, Ontario, Canada

Angela and my daughters in 2013. For the past 10+ years we have visited our 2nd home of Barbados always ensuring that when in Oistins we eat at Fred's Bar. Angela could not have made us feel more welcome. She was such a genuine, welcoming and warm lady. We will truly miss her on our future visits. God Rest Your Pure Soul Angela in Eternal Peace xxx

We have been eating at Fred's Bar for more than ten years. It is our go-to place for some of the very best food in Barbados and in recent years, we had the privilege of having our Christmas dinners there. We were devastated and so heartbroken to hear of Angela’s passing. Angela was always generous with her smiles and her warm welcomes, and her hugs. She was truly an incredible woman of much grace, dignity, kindness, wisdom, humour, and always, always with a twinkle in her eye. And could she cook!! Our hearts and thoughts go out to Lawson and Julia and everyone at Fred's, and to Oistins for this shocking and painful loss of a true matriarch and indomitable spirit. We loved Angela dearly and we will miss her terribly. We will return to Fred’s this winter with heavy hearts but we will always return. That place is pure magic and we have no doubt Angela’s spirit and soul will remain a part of it and that she would be all smiles and laughter to see her legacy living on.

With great sadness we say farewell to an amazing woman, Angela, who I have had the privilege of knowing since my teenage years! First in my personal life and later when she became a mentor and my union representative in my chosen profession of nursing! I will miss your smile, your wisdom, your wittiness...”In the sweet bye and bye..” Rest in perfect peace Angela. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
