aged 88, of Maxwell Park, Christ Church, formerly of Corbin Village, Lakes, St. Andrew and Rock Dundo, St. James, retired Principal of Alleyne School, faithful member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church and former member of the Church Council and Synod Representative.

Your life was dedicated to people, whether intellectually or spiritually.  Thank you for your mentorship, thank you for being a father, husband, brother, confidant and friend.  Rest peacefully.

Father of Deborah Reith (USA) and Anthony Jordan;

Grandfather of David Reith (USA);

Brother of Ronald Jordan, Cyreta Murray née Jordan (retired Nurse of the Gordon Cummins District Hospital) and the late Ronald Jordan;

Uncle of Nicole Wickham, Dave and Roger Jordan;

Cousin of Loueen, Chris, Karen, Chanelle, Elijah and Schofield Jackson, Winston, Joseph, Robin and Stephen Dixon, Murrell and         Olga Bovell (all of Canada), Ethna Lewis and Verona Grant;

Father-in-law of John Reith (USA);

Brother-in-law of Myrna Jordan and Leroy Murray;

Relative of the Jordan, Bovell and Lewis families;

Friend of David Griffith and family, the Jackson and Carrington families, the St. Stephen’s Anglican Church family, the Alleyne School family, the Travel Circle, the Maxwell Park Association and many others.                                               

A Requiem Mass celebrating the life, work and witness Ashby Jordan will take place on Saturday October 03, 2020 at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Black Rock, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 am, with the interment immediately following in the Churchyard.   

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. 

His body will repose for viewing on Saturday from 9.00 am until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.

Tributes in Ashby’s memory will commence at 9.30 am. 

Monetary donations toward the St. Stephen’s Church Stained Glass Window Fund will be appreciated.
