Daphne was the beloved wife of the late Edwin De Courcy Hunte;
Loving mother of Judith Hunte, Patrick Hunte, Diane Hunte and Ankhara Lloyd, and the late Owen Hunte;
Adored grandmother to Nancy Hunte, Natasha Hunte, Owen Hunte Jr, Sinclair Hunte, Phylicia Joseph, and Nia Fredricks;
Cherished sister of Maggie Soyer;
Admired sister -in-law of Frank Hunte and the late Henry Hunte
Revered aunt of Eureka, Noel and Ian Hunte, Wallace, Roger, Sandra and Wendy Soyer, the late Sandra Soyers, and others
Much loved friend to Aileen, Mary, Justina, Lucile and many others.
In light of the current level of risk in regard to COVID 19 and statutory requirements, with considerable sadness, the family have decided to hold a simple graveside service and interment at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens officiated by the Reverend at St. Leonard’s Church, for immediate family members only on Tuesday, 6th April, 2021. At a later date, in better circumstances, we will hold a memorial service where we can properly celebrate the life of a truly remarkable woman, loved by so many.
