Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Doris. We knew Doris and Carl from when we used to rent the house next door during the winter months. Doris was so friendly, warm and welcoming with shy Carl standing behind her, smiling. She sure could make us laugh with her quick wit and humour. She will be fondly remembered by her friends from Canada.
We send our condolences to the family of Aunt Doris on behalf of the Yearwood family in Canada and USA. We loved her and cherish our memories of her.
I met Doris at Wsib. We didn’t work together but I often interacted with her department and soon learned that she was the go to person if I needed results. Doris ran that department and anything she did like a drill Sargent. She got things done. She was a key organizer of the Barbados Ball in Toronto for many years a fundraiser to support students in Toronto and Barbados. Those were stellar events before COVID. We became friends and I would save her cou-cou when ever I was heading her way. This past year she needed more support due to health issues and dealing with the loss of her husband. I will miss my friend but I know she can finally rest in peace united with Carl.
Condolences to Doris family and friends, may her soul RIP 🙏 Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
