aged 89, known to many as “Chief”, of Burke’s Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael, faithful member of Hawthorn Memorial Methodist Church and retired Marine Engineer of the Barbados Port Authority.

The life and work of Douglas Wellington Jones will be remembered and celebrated in a Thanksgiving Service on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Hawthorn Memorial Methodist Church, Worthing, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 am.   The cortege will then proceed to the Churchyard of St. Augustine Anglican Church for the interment.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.

His body will repose for viewing on Wednesday from 9.00 am until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.

Monetary donations toward the Hawthorn Day Care Centre will be appreciated.
