A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the life of the late Reverend Dr Frank Alvin Barker takes place at Sharon Moravian Church, St. Thomas, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 1:30 p.m., followed by the interment at Clifton Hill Moravian Churchyard.
The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend. Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 no later than 11 a.m.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.Â

I would like to extend my heartfelt Condolences to the Barker family.
Alvin’s father was my headmaster at Southboro Boys in Clifton Hill, St. Thomas and I spent many moments with the family. Alvin always had that smile on his face and was liked by all of us who were under the tutelage of his father and all the others who attended the school.
