The funeral of the late George Douglas Adams leaves Keith Jones Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Friday 19th January 2024 at 12:30p.m. for St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Row, Bridgetown where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00p.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving.
The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend.
Floral tributes may be sent to Keith Jones Funeral Home no later than noon on Friday. Family and friends are invited to a visitation in the Chapel of Keith Jones Funeral Home on Thursday 18th January 2024 from 4:30p.m. to 6:00p.m.

So sorry to hear about the passing of George. I worked with him at the Birmingham Community Relations Council in the UK. I am visiting Barbados for the first time this year and wanted to visit him. After googling his name, I came across this sad news. I have such fond memories of George. He always stood up for what was right and I will never forget when he took on the largest Local Authority in Europe and won a case of racial discrimination against them. Sending my condolences to his family and close friends. RIP George xx
