Aged 59 years, affectionately called “GB or “Stepping Razor”, a Body Workman and Painter, late of Maxwell Hill, Christ Church, entered into rest on May 27, 2020 at the QEH.
Brother of Shirley Forde MEB (of the UK), Jennifer Carrington, Euphield Forde, Heather and Eleanor Layne (all of the USA), Muriel King, Cleaveland “Selvin” Forde, Harriette Layne and the late Esme Trotman and Ianthe Forde;
Uncle of Stephen Forde, Diana Burnett, Keisha Layne-Simmons (QEH) and 32 others;
Nephew of Vita Forde;
Relative of the Forde and Layne Families.
A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Glenroy Leroy Layne will take place at Christ Church Cemetery on Thursday June 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael, St. George, on Wednesday June 10, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home no later than 9:30 AM on the day of the funeral.
