Aged 88 years, affectionately called “Auntie”, late of Gentle Folks Nursing Home, formerly of “Milford”, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael and Union Hall Development, St. Philip. Faithful Member of the St. Barnabas Anglican Church and the Church Army. Retired Inspector of the National Insurance Scheme and former Chief Commissioner of The Girl Guides Association. Probation Officer and former Teacher at Belmont and St. Matthews Primary Schools, entered peacefully into rest on March 19, 2021.

A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Gloria Hyacinthia Forde will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Chapel Gap, St. Barnabas, St. Michael on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, on Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. The Organist is kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 7:45 AM on the day of the funeral.
