aged 82, of Warners Park, Christ Church, resident of Rosedale Nursing Home, Rowans Park, St. George, faithful member of Bethel Methodist Church and the Bethel Women’s League, retired Recording Secretary of the Psychiatric Hospital, ardent supporter of the Democratic Labour Party and former member of the Barbados Cricket Association.
Your life’s work of commitment and dedication spanned from the smallest to the greatest in society. You operated in every sphere that was available to you and a great legacy has been left behind for us to emulate. We thank God for your life and now, rest in peace from all of your toiling here on earth.

A Service of Thanksgiving, celebrating the life and work of Gloria Marlene Simmons will take place on Thursday March 14, 2019 at Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 am. The cortege will then proceed to the Christ Church Cemetery for the interment.
The Organist, members of the Church Choir and Women’s League are kindly asked to attend.
Her body will repose for viewing on Thursday from 9.00 am until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.
Monetary donations toward the Bethel Restoration Fund will be appreciated.
