Aged 80, known to many as “Scribby”, of College Savannah No.2, St. John, formerly of Ipswich, England, former Sexton of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, was called to higher service on Wednesday December 30, 2020.
Son of the late Beatrice Harewood and George Holligan;
Father of Marcus and Michelle Buckley (both of the United Kingdom) and Ricky Coppin;
Grandfather of Taye, Paige and Layce Buckley, Neave Kendray and two others;
Brother of Barbara, Eden and Oleta Harewood;
Uncle of Chegwin, Charlene, Gay and Kerio Harewood, Ryan Mason, Andrea Millington and Bradley Hoyte;
Cousin of Coreen Wiggins, Uldene Sealy and many others;
Father-in-law of Lisa Buckley and Matthew Kendray (both of the
United Kingdom);
Godfather of Basil Bradshaw and many others;
Relative of the Harewood, Holligan and Fingall families;
Friend of Bernard Gooding, Wills Weekes, Emmerson, Joe and Glyne (both of the United Kingdom), the Consett Bay Fisherfolks, St. Mark’s Church family and others too numerous to mention.
A Service of Celebration for the life and work of Hal Henderson Harewood took place on Friday January 15, 2021 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, College Savannah, St. John. The interment took place in the Churchyard.
A memorial service to celebrate Hal’s life here on earth will take place at a later date.
