A service of thanksgiving of the life of Henderson Rudolph Blackman takes place on Saturday, 4th January, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Better Life Assembly Church, Hindsbury Road, St. Michael. The interment follows in Westbury Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to E. PAMELA SMALL FUNERAL HOME, "The Lawns", Vauxhall, Christ Church, on Saturday, 4th January, 2025, no later than 7:00 a.m., or may be delivered to Better Life Assembly, Hindsbury Road, St. Michael, before the start of the service.
Visitation takes place on Friday, 3rd January, 2025, between the hours of 3:30 - 5: 30 p.m., in the chapel of E. PAMELA SMALL FUNERAL HOME, "The Lawns", Vauxhall, Christ Church. Service can be viewed via live streaming at: https://www.youtube.com/live/qS01pf40O-E?si=xr9CkgYJBT0du3F0

This is late I know but I am still grieving the seemingly unexpected loss of my cousin. Henderson was like another brother to me and a second son to my father, his uncle Rupert. He helped all and any that he could and was an amazing brother, father and grandfather to his family. Without him the funeral for my father would never have run as smoothly as it did. He was truly feet on the ground. I will miss you my cousin on my trips to Barbados: chicken foot soup, amazing imitations of dad and long chats on WhatsApp 💕

Sincere condolences to all of Henderson’s family. I have happy memories of Henderson chauffeuring me, my sister and my wife around when we came over for the funeral of my father Rupert Maloney a few years ago. I am thankful for the precious time that Henderson spent helping my dad in his later years when his health wasn’t so good.
