“Straughny” entered into peaceful rest on 22 July 2025 and is survived by his Beloved Mother Sylvia Forde née Straughn;

Nephew Grantley Burroughs;

Relatives of the Straughn, Alleyne, Mason and Burroughs families;

A Service of Praise and Thanksgiving to celebrate the work and  life of Ignatius Roosevelt STRAUGHN  will be held on Friday 15^th August 2025, at All Souls Anglican Church, Lower Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service.

The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. His body will repose for viewing at the church from 1 pm until the start of the service, where floral tributes would be greatly appreciated. Floral tributes may also be delivered to LE Smith Funeral Home no later than 11:30 am on Friday.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.
