Age 66 affectionately called “Golda” late of 24 Simmons Land, Rendezvous, Christ Church. Formerly of Sargeants Village, Christ Church a Member of the Church of the Living God St. Patrick’s Christ Church entered peacefully into rest at the QEH on March 15, 2017.
Wife of Vernon Roberts; Mother of Janice Trotman of H Jason Jones & Co Ltd, Vernon Lyte, Anthony, McNeil, Donna and Johnny Roberts; Grandmother of Shemika, Shamara, Shadima and Shakobe Lyte, Rasheed, Rashaan, Rashida, Rashanna and Regina Roberts , Vashon Welch , Jordan King, Joylynn, Jemma and Jaya Patrick; Sister of Leon and Nigel Lyte, Rhonda Small and many others; Mother-in-law of Martin Trotman, Cathyann Lyte, Julianne Roberts, Sherrie Patrick and Ryan Griffith; Friend of Verona Miller and Julia Williams; Relatives of the Roberts, Lyte, Bourne and Small families.
A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Ila Celeste Roberts Neé Lyte takes place at the Living Waters Faith Ministry, Sargeants Village Christ Church at 1:30 PM on Saturday March 25, 2017. The cortege will then proceed to Cassia Lawns Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment. Viewing of the body takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, Friday March 24, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A collection would be taken towards the Church’s building fund.
