aged 84 years, affectionately called “Iris”, late of Thorpes Cottege, St. George, formerly of Barre, St. Vincent and faithful worshipper of Victory Pentecostal Church of God, entered into rest on November 1, 2019 at the Geriatric Hospital.
Daughter of the late Alfred John and Adina Williams;
Mother of Floretta “Joy” Carrington, Pancita Trotman, Wasbert, Richardo, Purnell (USA), Kevin, Garvin and Yvette John, Shevern Boyland (USA) and Hetty Van Schaik (USA);
Sister of Candacy Maynard and 8 others;
Grandmother of Tiffany, Keel, Joshua, Nathan, Dean, Cameron, Kerry-ann, Latoya, Christopher, Sandra, Lorenzo, Junior and 18 others;
Cousin of many;
Friend of Linda and Una Greaves, the Victory Pentecostal Church Family and the Nurses of the Geriatric Hospital;
Relative of the Trotman, Went, Williams, John, Currency, Doyle and Ogarro Families.
A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Iris Luenda Williams will now take place at St. George Parish Church, The Glebe, St. George on Friday November 22, 2019 at 3:30 PM followed by the interment in the churchyard. Viewing takes place an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. The Organist and Members of the Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 12:00 Noon on the day of the funeral.
