Irvine Luther Rudder
aged 99, known to many as “Daddy Lu” or “Louis”, of Thickets Hill, St. Philip, dedicated member of St. Marks Anglican Church. “Daddy Lu” we salute you for the dedication you lovingly gave to the work of the Lord, your family and wider community. We will miss you immensely but rest for a little until the great getting up morning when we will all be gathered home.

Grandfather of Andre, Renaldo, Maggie, Robin, Makaela, Kerry Ann, Kelly Ann and Nicole Rudder, Kim McClean, Jackie, Cheryl and Jan Lashley, Samantha Coppin, Tracey Gibson, Pablo Bradshaw, Juan and Natasha Mascoll;
Great-grandfather of twenty-four;
Great-great-grandfather of three;
Brother of the late Lee and Elsie Rouse;
Uncle of Norma and Peter Rouse;
Father-in-law of Adena, Angela and Sandra Rudder and Claude Cummins;
Relative of the Rudder, Rouse, Gittens and Inniss families;
Friend of Gaile Fingall, Prince Small, Beverley Brathwaite, the St. Mark’s Anglican Church family and many others.
The life and work of Irvine Luther Rudder will be remembered and celebrated in a Thanksgiving Service on Monday May 09, 2022 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, College Savannah, St. John where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.00 pm, with the interment immediately following in the Churchyard.
The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.
There will be no viewing of Irvine’s body by special request; however floral tributes will be gratefully accepted at the Church.
The service and interment will be streamed live on Monday from 2.45 pm on https://eternally-cherished.online/IrvineRudder
Strict Covid-19 Protocols will be in effect.
