The life and work of Karen Vanessa Blackman will be remembered and celebrated in a Thanksgiving Service on Friday November 10, 2023 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, College Savannah, St. John where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.00 pm, with the interment immediately following in the Churchyard.
The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.
Her body will repose for viewing on Thursday at Jo-Anne Jones Funeral Services from 3.30 pm until 5.30 pm and on Friday at the Church from 2.00 pm until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.
The family request that bright colours be worn in celebration of Karen’s life.
The service and interment will be streamed live on Friday from 2.45 pm on https://eternally-cherished.online/KarenBlackman

I meet Karen in 1983 when I moved from Trinidad to Barbados, n my family moved in Blades Hill #3, we beacme very good friends, her death I still a shocker to me. I will like to send my heartful condolences to Errol, Javon, Riley, n all her family n friends. I won’t be at her funeral cause I’m in Trinidad so I will watch online.
