I am deeply saddened to know about the passing of Hazel. Growing up with Geoffrey in St.Davids my dad, mother and sisters were acquainted with her mother Clarissa and David her uncle. Although I never met Hazel I felt she was deeply loved by family and friends. My heart goes out to Kay and Lynn during this difficult time. May her memory bring you comfort and may you find strength in the love she shared with both of you. My sincete condolences to her beloved friends and other family members.
I wish to extend my sincere condolences to my cousins Kay and Lynn on the passing of their dear mother Hazel. Growing up in St. Davids which was, “ground zero” for the Gollop and Ramsey clan gave me the unique opportunity to get to know most of my relatives as they would come to visit my grandmother, her two siblings and my late uncle, Keith. Thus, I got to know their grandmother Clarissa, who was my late mother’s first cousin, and their great uncle David whom we all affectionately called, cousin Dave. I never got the opportunity to meet Hazel since Clarissa would usually travel alone.
Unfortunately, I left Barbados before I got the opportunity to meet Hazel and the girls and establish a bond which I am confident would have happened since her former husband and I both worked at Cable and Wireless. I want Kay and Lynn to know that I feel their pain and share their grief and truly hope that Hazel’s passing will bring us all together. Rest in peace Hazel until we meet on the other side.
