Aged 68 years, affectionately called “Kozick”, late of Thickets, St. Philip and formerly of Montrose, Christ Church. Retired Salesman of Lashley and Waithe Fish Processors, KD’S Food Fair and Former Member of the Barbados Rifle and Pistol Association, entered into rest on January 12, 2021 at the QEH.

Former Husband of Margaret Beckles (USA);
Father of Mitchell Steel (UK), Stacey DaCosta and Sabrina Burkhalter (both of the USA), Shaundell Corbin and Renaldo Sargeant;
Grandfather of Amber and Savannah DaCosta (both of the USA) and Ethan and Evan Corbin;
Brother of Cynthia, Barbara and Marcia Beckles, Annette, Marlon and Wade Bascombe and the late Anthony and Marquita Beckles;
Uncle of Aliza Clarke, Ashley Beckles, Angela, Mark, Trevor and Michael Beckles and many others;
Father-In-Law of Gabriel Corbin and Alwin DaCosta (USA);
Friend of Cuthbert ‘Boo’ Jordan and family;
Relative of the Jones, Wiltshire and Moore families;
A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Michael Alonza Beckles will take place at The People’s Cathedral, Bishop Court Hill, St. Michael on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 1:30 PM. The cortege will then proceed to Bushy Park Cemetery for the interment. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George tomorrow, Monday February 1, 2021 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 9:00 AM on the day of the funeral.
