I knew Michelle for many, many years. Around the time her son Raphael was a baby in arms and her son Anthony was a little boy, we became close. I use to see her at school but our bond never came until later when she lived in Clapham, and meeting her 2 young sons. I saw her rising moments. I visited her home many times and accompanied her to her mum’s home, meeting her mum, sisters and brothers. we would leave choir practice on Saturday evenings with my son, our friend Susan and her kids and we would hang out there by Michelle. Sometimes we would go to church together as I would pick up a few times for church or other functions. I met her dad a few times as well. She was really a true friend. She would visit me wherever I was and we would hang out together. I remembered when she joined Julie’N and finally became a Junior Manager; then when she worked at Tuleja Lumber Company; another Lumber Company at Lower Estate (I can’t remember the name), DaCosta Mannings; Pan American Life Insurance; assisted in running a hardware store in St. Peter before she began her own business at home. The first business was with her friend Tracy in her first entrepreneur business, which I visited a few times, then she later went into the sale of food items, then assisted her son Raphael in setting up his business there, and assist with the preparation of food. We would always connect with one another, even in the busiest of times, especially on whatsapp. If we don’t see or hear one another for a while, she would always say, “we are friends for life” and I would 2nd that. She was there for me and I was there for her at different times in our journey. She would go on family outings and old scholars’ outings. She had many friends, even some of them I knew when she worked especially at Julie’N, and Tuleja. There’s alot more I can say; she was a true friend and confidant. I will truly miss her. May she rest in peace and rise in glory 🙏❤️😢😔
A kind, lovely lady. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. Deepest sympathies to family & friends
