BARNESIn his 96th year NATHANIEL WHITFIELD, better known as George” of Sherbourne No.1, St. John, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday August 31, 2021. He was a retired Engineer of Andrew’s Sugar Factory.

A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Nathaniel “George” Barnes will take place at Mount Tabor Moravian Church, Mount Tabor, St. John on Friday September 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., immediately followed by interment in the Churchyard. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 11:30 a.m. on the day of the funeral. The family invites you to live stream the service and burial at All COVID protocols will be observed.
