Remembering my dear friend and colleague from UWI Barbados
. Viola was a faithful and treasured friend. She was the older sister to some of us and her friendship, sincerity, love and kindness was unmeasurable. Her house was home to those of us from other Caribbean countries and we enjoyed sharing in her intellectual knowledge and experiences as well as social interactions.
Condolences are extended to her nieces and nephews and other family members throughout Grenada and other Caribbean countries and in Nigerian and North America etc.
May Viola’s soul rest in peace.
Your dear friend Annelle Thomas SVG
“Aunty” Viola was the most beautiful, kind lady. Her smile and laugh lit up the room and she welcomed me into her wondeful home with arms wide open. I will miss her dearly and her amazing funny stories. Rest in peace aunty Viola.
All my love Sam xx
