Aged 80 years, affectionately called “Vetes”, late of Opal Road, Sayes Court, Christ Church. Faithful worshipper of the St. Christopher Anglican Church, past President of the Mother’s Union and Women’s Fellowship. Founding member of The Guild of Saint Raphael, former Captain of The Church Army and The Church Girl’s Brigade. Past member of the Church Choir and Church Counsel, Head of the Bible Study Group and Co-Coordinator of the Luncheon Committee. Retired Supervisor of The School Meals Department at St. Christopher Centre, entered into rest on March 4, 2022.

A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Vita Yarde will take place at the St. Christopher Anglican Church, St. Christopher, Christ Church on Thursday March 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM. The cortege will then proceed to Christ Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Christ Church for the Interment. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, on Wednesday March 16, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. The Organist and members of the Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 11:00 AM on the day of the funeral.
