Farewell, Warren Carson Anderson Standiford
Thank you for being the kind of father figure who didn’t just guide me, but shaped me. You stood beside me through seasons of growth, hardship, and discovery, offering wisdom that never demanded attention but always deserved it. Your presence was steady, your care was genuine, and your influence reached deeper than you ever knew.
I carry gratitude for every lesson, every conversation, every moment you chose to pour into me. You gave me strength when mine was thin, direction when the path felt unclear, and a sense of belonging that will stay with me for the rest of my life. You didn’t have to step into that role, but you did—with grace, patience, and a quiet love that changed me.
As I say goodbye, I hold onto the parts of you that live on in me: your resilience, your humour, your way of seeing the world with both realism and heart. I honour you by carrying those pieces forward.
Rest peacefully, Warren. Thank you for everything you were, everything you gave, and everything you left behind in the people who loved you. Your impact doesn’t end here—it continues in every life you touched, including mine.
To Angela and Wellington and family .My condolences so sorry to hear. Thinking of you.
