Retired Clerk of the New York City Sanitation Dept., member of the Barbados Ex-Police Association of New York, the Combermere School Old Scholars’ Association of New York and President of St. CathMark Association of New York. You were actively involved in associations that sought to make positive changes in the lives and circumstances of others. A busy, challenging but productive life has now been silenced.  We lay you to rest knowing you are at peace.

Husband of: Carlotta Yvonne Maxwell;

Father of: Verna Barnett, Coralyn Munroe, Flora Maxwell-Stowe, Wills Maxwell, Wayne Maxwell and Paula Maxwell;

Grandfather of: Nine;

Brother of: Erville Maxwell, Elsie Ishmael, Loleta Howell, Waple Alleyne, Hazel Springer and The late Celestine Maxwell;

Uncle of: Angela Ishmael, Anthea “Ann” Maxwell, Travis Springer and A host of others;

Relative of: Mason and Howard families;

Friend of: Many;                                     

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Wilbert Wesley Maxwell will take place on Wednesday April 04, 2018 at St. Catherine Anglican Church, St. Catherine, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.30 pm with the interment immediately following in the Churchyard. 

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend.

His body will repose for viewing on Wednesday from 2.30 pm until the start of the service during which time floral tributes will be gratefully accepted.

Monetary donations toward the Church’s Building Fund will be appreciated. 

Tributes in Wilbert’s memory will commence at 3.00 pm.
